Sisterhood Dinner at NCSU

I felt honored to be one of the nominees for the 2018 Equity for Women Award. What an amazing group of people all working hard to bring Equity to NCSU. The highlights of the Sisterhood Dinner included finding out more about an amazing exhibit on “The Politics of Black Hair,” and the keynote speaker, Mandy Carter’s inspiration words about multiple cause activism and speaking truth through our stories.
